Sherie Rogde, President/CEO
Sherie is the founder of Lifework
International Foundation. She has a master’s degree in
Organizational Behavior with emphasis in Third World
development. Since 1991, Sherie has studied
international development, worked with NGOs in field
operations, and served on boards of directors. What she
has learned from both academic study and practical
experience guides LIF.

Assunta Forgione,Vice-President
Assunta possesses an MBA from the
University of Western Ontario with extensive
entrepreneurial experience. Throughout her professional
career, she held leadership positions in business
associations and charitable organizations, including the
Canadian Italian Business Professional Association,
Toastmasters International, Alliance for Young Smiles
and Paralympics. Her interest in international
development lead her to Utah where she is
completing her MEd in Comparative International
Development Education.

Jolene Merica,
Secretary/Treasurer
PhD candidate in Instructional
Science and Curriculum. Jolene has been involved in
higher education for sixteen years and has taught
university classes in women’s studies. She has also
participated in a local program with Literacy Volunteers
of America. Jolene has special talent in systems and
writing/editing skills.

Aaron Buchanan
Aaron
is Director of Research, San Jose Unified School
District, PhD. Aaron specializes in academic testing and
improving the quality of under-performing schools. He
has special expertise in collection and analysis of
data. Aaron gives extraordinary support to LIF and its
advancement.

Cheryl Snapp Conner
Cheryl is co-founder, Partner and Executive Director of
Public Relations Services for Snapp Norris Group, Inc.,
(SNG), bringing 18 years of public relations experience
to LIF. Cheryl also serves on the board of the
Provo/Orem Chamber of Commerce. Her dedication to LIF’s
mission and expertise in public relations are attracting
interest and support to the foundation.

Spence Lloyd
Spence is Senior Vice President and
CFO of the Intermountain Farmers Association. He has an
MBA from Utah State University and serves as a board
member of the Utah Council of Farmer Cooperatives. This
experience is an important resource to help people
create economic opportunities. Spence has also been a
volunteer for his church in Central America and at the
Utah State Prison.
